Resource Authorization Guide
Requester/Sponsor: Employees are automatically provisioned an email account. If you are sponsoring a guest with a valid business reason to obtain an @ucf.edu email address, submit a request to create an email account.

Individual needing an email account: The user will not be able to access their email account until the requester receives a notification indicating the email request is complete. Contact your sponsored to check on the status of your email account request.
Requester/Sponsor: Once the sponsor receives the user account creation notification they must contact the system owner or Security Lead to request the appropriate access to resources (file shares, servers, etc.) or Single Sign On enabled federated applications (Webcourses, etc.)
Individual needing access: No action needed.
myUCF Student Information System (PeopleSoft) Access
Registrar Office Student Records Security Authorizer approval is required in addition to security lead and supervisor approval.
FERPA course SR100W is required before working with institutional data (academic records).
Requester/Sponsor: After the system generates an UCFID (EmplID) and NID account, the sponsor will need to contact their PeopleSoft functional or security lead within the department to provision the needed access.
Individual needing access: Contact srtrain@ucf.edu to enroll in the required SR100W (FERPA Training) and basic navigation courses. More information is found here: https://registrar.ucf.edu/training/
HR’s Security Authorizer
Requester/Sponsor: After the system generates an UCFID (EmplID) and NID account, the sponsor will need to contact their functional or security lead within the department and Human Resource’s Security Authorizer (hris@ucf.edu) to request the appropriate HR access.
Individual needing access: No action needed.
