UCF Sponsored Guest Accounts are time-limited computer accounts full-time UCF Employees (e.g., head of business unit, department, faculty, administration, etc.) can request for individuals such as associates, consultants, contractors, or guests who, for legitimate purposes, require access to technology resources during their temporary affiliation with UCF. UCF Employees must use the UCF Sponsored Accounts Application to request sponsored guest account provisioning, de-provisioning, and renewal requests. Sponsored Guests are required to provide UCF accurate identity information.

Accounts are granted to persons for official university business for a maximum length of one (1) year unless otherwise stated. Sponsors may opt to renew the account after the initial year by using the UCF Sponsored Account Application’s renewal process.

The UCF Sponsored Account Application notifies the sponsor and sponsored guest of needed actions as well as status updates on when account was created or disabled but does not provision any services to the account. Sponsors must separately request access to services and data from the application owner or security authorizer after the account is created (e.g., access to a specific application such as email must be made to the application owner or security authorizer). Once the UCF Sponsored Account Application notifies the sponsor that the sponsored guest account is ready for use, the sponsor can begin requesting access.
